and i think bobby kind of hero-worshipped rufus in the beginning & rufus was all “lololol o u singer” but then they actually do start working well together, and then they HUNT THINGS AROUND THE WORLD and maybe he teaches bobby different languages
Yesyesyes Rufus teaches Bobby Latin, and Bobby surprises Rufus by already knowing Japanese from his time in the service (which comes in pretty damn handy hunting kappas in Japan). And Rufus has wanted to go to India since the sixties, he just didn’t expect to have to save Bobby’s ass from a vetala while he was at it.
